Newsweek

Are you looking for cheap wireless earbuds? How about something that costs only $25. Yeah, that’s right. It’s cheap. You won’t even feel the effects in your pocket. With this price, it’s almost a no-brainer that it made some compromises along the way.

One good example is the fact that everything is made from plastic. It does look and feel like it. Also, the charging cable is as long as your pinky with accessories kept to the barest minimum. But here’s the best part. The earbuds have rich, bright, and boosted bass along with impressive highs.

You realize how it stacks up when we say that, right? That means the earbud’s sound quality wasn’t compromised at all. Can you believe an earbud with this low price can deliver a solid audio performance? Yeah, that’s right. It got solid performance.

Unfortunately, it wasn’t able to come up with longer battery life. The battery life is short with crummy controls.

Audio Performance

As mentioned earlier, it’s a big surprise that the Skullcandy Dime True Wireless Earbuds didn’t cut corners with the sound quality. In fact, the earbuds deliver a crisp, bright, and solid bass with excellent highs. Also, there’s no distorting sound when tuned in to a reasonable volume which is another good news.

Speaking of highs, it’s pretty well balanced to match the excellent low sounds. This is essential so that the bass doesn’t go overboard. Likewise, Skullcandy True Wireless Earbuds strikes the right balance for the drums.

While there are some boosts happening, the drums are pretty solid and round. The best thing is that the sound doesn’t go very thunderous. It’s just the right mix of lows, highs, and mids.

An excellent sounding earbuds for a really low price

The Skullcandy Dime True Wireless Earbuds are solid, well-balanced, and rich-sounding earbuds for a really low price. It can easily get away with the cheap material it’s made from. For the price of only $25, you can’t go wrong with this one.

It delivers the right punch of bass, clear mids, and rich highs. If you’re into the cheapest sounding earbuds for a reasonable price, this one is good enough. It won’t hurt your pocket and the most important thing; it doesn’t hurt your ear.
